Search Engines — Google vs. Google Scholar

The topic I had chosen was "Discuss the trends and developments on animation industry in Japan." and the query I came up with was "(animation OR anime*) AND (developments* OR growth) AND (Japan) AND (trends)".

First, I used Google to search using the query and the results were relevant to my topic and the most current article was dated 2010. After that I tried to use Google Scholar, but ended up not finding any relevant results to my topic even after searching for more than 10 pages. Compared to Google, there was only 11,600 results (Google came up with 3.220,000 results).

In conclusion, I would choose to use Google to research on my topic.
